Weekend Out of Town

Friday after work I went to my daughter's and spent the weekend. Friday night we went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner. It was great we had a stuff mushroom appetizer and large pizza with half anchovy mine was the anchovy side. We went back to her apartment talked and watched tv. Saturday morning we got up got dressed went to two places to look at pet supplies, Goodwill, Central Library, and then two yarn shops. Knit Picky and Knit One Smock Two. I brought stitch markers at Knit Picky I brought some very pretty Stitch Markers and at Knit One Smock Two I brought two skeins of Noro Cashmere Island shade 5, Noro Designer Mini Knits, by Jenny Watson, and a pattern by Ann Noring for a Feather & Fan baby afghan. Also went to A C Moore and A great Restaurant Turmeric Indian Restaurant & Bar. The food was great! I had the Curry it was great and it was spicy to me! The bread was great! i would like to go again sometime. The website http://www.turmericindia.com/ . After dinner and a trip to a few more stores we went back to her apartment made drinks and watched more tv. Earlier in the day before dinner we watched Twilight. Today we got up got dressed and went to church it was great. My daughter attends Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Rev. Dr C. E. Gray Pastor located at 1301 C.E. Gray Drive Winston Salem, North Carolina website http://www.letgodbegod.org/ . My Mother and I plan to attend with my Daughter on Easter Sunday. Like I said it was a great weekend and I am trying to hold on to my euphoria! but it is slowly ebbing because I am back at home in Randolph County the City of Asheboro, an getting ready for another work week. Please don't get me wrong I am very happy and I feel well blessed to be getting ready for a work week. I am thankful for the fact each day that I am not escorted out of the building and asked not to come back! The best thing about the week is the office is closed on Friday and I have Monday off too! So I have a nice long weekend to look forward too! No knitting or crochet I hope visiting yarn shops and feeling yarn counts as a fiber and crafting activity. The picture is of a cat found at The Fiber Company A working Studio and fine craft gallery . It is located in Winston-salem's Arts District 600 N. Trade St. http://www.dadwaws.org/ . They have wonderful things if you are in the area you should pay a visit. I finished reading How to Knit a Love Song, by Rachael Herron and I hope it is not the last I hope it is a series. The book has a lot of talk about kniting & spinning and at the end of the book you get a pattern for a sweater.
