Hen-Side The Beltline Tour D' Coop

A very enjoyable day . My daughter and I went to the Tour D'Coop in Raleigh today. It is sponsored by Whole Food market, it is to support Urban Ministries of Wake County. (www.urbanmin.org) The tour consist of chicken coops located in the downtown Raleigh inside the 440 beltline chicken coops. We had a great day! This year they had 20 coop's. My daughter and we made it to 14 out of 20 coop's. If you visit www.hensidethebeltline.blogspot.com you will see a few of the coup's. I am posting a picture of coop #14 tonight and will post other picture's later. We had a great time and had a chance to see great chicken coups and also great garden's! I feel the need to get to work on my back yard! Before we started the tour we made a quick trip into Great Yarn a wonderful yarn shop! Beautiful yarn and the woman in the shop was very friendly! The yarn was beautiful ! We stopped at Mellowmushroom for lunch we had the spinach-artichoke dip and funky chicken pizza. It was great. I want chickens too! Posting a picture of coop #14.

Time For The Gusset

So on Saturday I finished the heel flap, turned the heel, and picked up the stitches on my sock. I am ready to shape the gusset. I brought another skein of sock yarn Harry Potter Opal. Just as soon as I finish my sock I plan to start another pair and promise it will not take a year for me to get the done. I spent a great day yesterday getting help with my sock and then with my daughter and Cece. I will post a picture of total cuteness tonight. We went to visit my grandmother today, it was a good visit. I am reading Bring Your Own Poison, by Jimmie Ruth Evans. The fourth in the trailer park series.
