The Big Day

Well today was the big day ! My daughter got her puppy today. She is so sweet and so cute! After picking the puppy up at my friend's house my daughter wanted to show her off at my sister's house she was a big hit. Then she headed to Raleigh to see her boyfriend. She called on her trip and CeCe was crying and whining. Even though she should not have she put the puppy in her lap with a toy I brought the puppy and she finally went to sleep. I hope she does not cry to much tonight. I have made it to row 19 on my second Beth's Little Star Afghan. I am reading Murder Talks Turkey, by Deb Baker.

Another Beth's Little Star Afghan

Star Afghan. I took today off from work so I have had a nice long weekend. So this means only four days of work this week. I started another Beth's Little Star Afghan. I am using Caron Jumbo Prints Baby rainbow Ombre, this works up into a very pretty pattern. I had a nice relaxing day. The picture is of the new Beth's Little Afghan.

Easter Sunday!!!!

Well I was busy on Friday and Saturday and I did not post any updates. On Friday we got up and of course got dressed to head out to Piggly Wiggly did some grocery shopping and driving around in Siler City, we had the chance to see some very pretty houses. Then we headed back to Asheboro and two fish markets neither one of them had salt fish(fish that are cured with salt). Our family always brought the fish then soaked them and fried them for breakfast. My Mother and I are disappointed we planned to cook the fish tomorrow with grits( a southern thing). One fish market said the would have more early next week. Saturday I tried to find a nice dress to wear to church today but could not find anything I really liked. Saturday was my Mother's 74th birthday an we went out with my Sister and Brother-In-Law to Arigato Japanese Steak & Seafood House. We love the place it fun since they cook the food in front of you. Sunday My Mother and I went to Church with my daughter it was a wonder Easter Sunday Church Service. After church we went to Olive Garden or lunch and then went to my daughter's apartment and spend the afternoon we watched a move while I finished the Beth's Little Star Afghan. My daughter was please with the afghan and feels that it looks good. I noticed a mistake in the next to the last row told my daughter about it and showed it to her. She said no one will no and don't rip it out. I went with what she said and I don't think anyone will know but me and my daughter. I hope it is large enough. I did 20 rows and it seems big enough for a baby. The picture is of the finished baby afghan. Now that I have remembered what I did to get the Beth's Little Star Afghan started I am ready to start a new one.
