Tangled web of cotton

It's Saturday and I spent a large part of the day trying to untangle my used cotton yarn. I have several balls of used cotton yarn in both Peaches & Creme and Sugar' n Cream I had this yarn in a plastic bin and it all got tangled together. Some of the balls I am sure I could manage another dishcloth and others only a few row on something. I hope to find a nice and easy grocery bag to knit with my scrap yarn. Cast on an Shamrock Cloth last night I plan to add a few rows tonight and get most of in done tomorrow I want to finish the dishcloth by Tuesday St Patrick's day. The pattern I cast on is Knitted Shamrock Cloth, by Rhonda K. White located at http://wwwknittingknonsense.com/shamrockcloth.html . Now I am on the couch posting and watching t.v. what a way to spend a Saturday night. I need to read a few chapters of Fleece navidad. Craft on!!! Posting a picture of where I want to be instead of Asheboro North Carolina, I hope I will get to visit the beach again before I die during the summer and winter.

Radiating Hearts

I finished the Radiating Hearts dishcloth tonight. You can find this patten in Leisure Arts #3253 dishcloths From The Hearts, By Evelyn A. Clark. I used Lily The Original Sugar ' n Cream cotton yarn in Hot Orange. I love the color and feel the dishcloth turned out pretty good. So tomorrow is Friday and payday so after work I am off to Hobby Lobby for a skein of green cotton yarn I found a pattern on Ravelry for a shamrock dishcloth . St Patrick's day on the 17th and so I plan to cast on in so that the dishcloth will be finished by Tuesday in honor of St Pa tricks day. I still have enough time to crochet a scarf or granny square of national crochet month. Happy, happy tomorrow's Friday! Craft on ! Picture of my Radiating Hearts Dishcloth.

Recast

So last night I recast on the Radiating Hearts dishcloth that I cast on the first time on Saturday night. So far so good on the recast. I am on row 29 plan to knit a few more rows tonight. I knit a row or 2 during my morning break at work the first morning break I have taken in a long time I might add, then night a few rows during lunch. I can make out the the start of the first heart. This is a dishcloth you have to count your stitches. You have a lot of increasing, decreasing, and slip, slip, knit. If you want to get in good practice with most of your stitches a dishcloth can take you there you learn a lot. Three days until the weekend. Craft on! Posting a picture of the first 27 rows I think of the Radiating Hearts recast.

Sock yarn

Well just a quick damn it's Monday update. Last night I had to rip out all my hard work in the Radiating Hearts dishcloth apparently knitting and watching Big Love don't mix. It was a long hard day today and only 4 days until the weekend. So I have to start over on the dishcloth maybe tonight I am not sure. I might read for a few minutes tonight. I am posting a picture of the sock yarn I brought for my sock class. It is Trekking hand art made in Germany, it is hand painted very pretty and very bright color Tonga 510. I want to cast on the dishcloth not the socks, and I want to read. I can't do both. Oh well craft on!!

That horrible feeling it's Sunday night

Well the weekend is coming to a close. I got up late on Saturday and made my way to Gate City Yarns. I brought my supplies for my sock class. The dates for the class have been changed so I have to wait closer to the end of the month. Which is not that bad. I have the yarn, pattern and needles. I will post a picture of the yarn later this week. Cast on a dishcloth last night #4 Radiating Hearts from #3253 Leisure Arts dishcloths FROM THE HEART by Evelyn A. Clark. A heart is starting to form. This cloth starts off like the Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth, from Dishcloths Boutique. I made it to row 30 last night I think I will add a few rows tonight. I am using Lily The Original Sugar' n Cream in Hot Orange. Posting a picture later in the week as so as I finish the dishcloth. I read a page or 2 of Club Dead and I want to read a few pages of Fleece Navidad. So much you want to do and so little time. Posting picture's of the cats just because.
